Ministry:
Curt and Jeanna began working with Paraclete Mission Group in July 2017.  It is an organization whose "mission is to come alongside Christian leaders around the world."  Jesus used the word "paraclete" to mean an advocate who is called to the side of another.  Curt gives priority to serving leaders with limited resources and who feel isolated both nationally and internationally.

EPC Church Plant, Gloucester County, NJ

Greg Austen

130 Jefferson Avenue

Pitman, NJ 08071

gregausten@comcast.net

Ministry:

Greg and Pam Austen, former members at PCKS, now live an hour away in Gloucester County, one of southern NJ’s growing counties, where there is no EPC church, and over 50% of the 360K population identify as irreligious. Using largely a tent-making model that interfaces well with his work as Executive Director of Church Outreach & Engagement with Care Net, Greg has been given Presbytery approval to plant a new EPC church in Gloucester County. The new church will specialize in engaging millennials and reaching those who’ve been hurt by the church. It's missional activities will focus on new convert growth and discipleship of the unchurched.

United World Mission/Evangelism
in Depth for Children-Mexico

Rebekah Meyerend

Ministry:
Rebekah Meyerend is a missionary with United World Mission, serving in Mexico since 1994. Her vision is to reach at-risk children and their families with the gospel of Jesus Christ. She currently resides in Port Orange, Florida where she is caring for her elderly mother. Her ministry in Florida focuses on evangelism, training and discipleship of women and children at risk through weekly children’s bible studies, weekly parenting classes, counseling, and meeting practical needs. She also volunteers weekly at a crisis pregnancy resource center where they review with their clients all their options--parenting, adoption, and explain the risks of abortion with the goal of sharing the love of Christ. Several times a year she travels back to Mexico to encourage and strengthen local believers and to attend UWM conferences.
